What Comes Out of a Bilibili Link

Everything the page holds, listed side by side.

  • Videos

MP4 at every resolution stored for it.

  • Multi-part uploads

Each part handled as its own video.

  • Bangumi episodes

    One episode per link.

  • Audio

    The soundtrack without the picture.

  • Subtitles

When the uploader attached a track.

  • High resolutions

1080p and 4K when they exist.

Built Around How Bilibili Works

Four things that decide what a link gives you.

  • BV, AV and b23.tv

Bilibili moved from numeric AV ids to the BV format, and the app shares b23.tv short links. All three are accepted and resolved to the same page before anything is read.

  • Multi-part videos

A long upload is often split into parts inside one page. Each part is a separate video with its own quality list, so pick the part you want rather than getting one giant file.

  • Separate video and audio

Bilibili streams high resolutions as separate video and audio tracks. They are joined back into one playable MP4 before the file reaches you, so there is nothing to merge by hand.

  • Live rooms

An ongoing broadcast is not a video page and cannot be saved. Once the streamer publishes the replay as a normal video, its link works like any other.

From Link to File

Four short steps, nothing to install.

  1. 1. Copy the link

Use the address bar on the web, or Share → Copy link in the Bilibili app.

  2. 2. Paste and analyze

b23.tv short links are expanded for you before the page is read.

  3. 3. Choose quality

Resolutions, the audio track and any subtitles are listed separately.

  4. 4. Save it

The file downloads straight to your device, ready to watch offline.

Which Quality You Can Expect

What is offered depends on the upload and on who is watching.

What the Web Tool Can and Cannot Reach

Anything that plays for a signed-out visitor can be saved: ordinary UP uploads, free bangumi episodes, trailers and the parts of a series Bilibili shows without an account.

Everything behind a sign-in is different. Paid bangumi, Cheese courses, member-only quality tiers and videos an uploader has restricted are tied to an account, and this page never uses yours. The desktop app works from your own logged-in session, which is the way to reach content you have already paid for.

  • Region-locked titles follow Bilibili's own rules and may be unavailable.
  • Deleted or under-review videos leave nothing to read.
  • Save what you have the right to keep — re-uploading someone's work elsewhere is not fair use.

When the daily allowance runs out

  • No daily download limit

Bilibili Downloader FAQ

Do BV links and old AV links both work?

Yes. BV ids, legacy AV ids and b23.tv short links all resolve to the same video page.

Can I download a bangumi episode?

Free episodes and trailers, yes — one episode per link. Paid episodes are tied to your account and need the desktop app.

How do I get one part of a multi-part video?

Open the part you want on Bilibili first, copy that address, and paste it here. The page reads the part the link points at.

Is 4K always available?

Only when the uploader published a 4K version. If the highest entry is 1080p, that is the best file that exists for that video.

Can I save just the audio?

Yes. The audio track is listed on its own, which is handy for music videos and talk content.

Do I get subtitles?

When the uploader attached a subtitle track, it appears in the Subtitles tab. Many videos have none, and burned-in text cannot be separated.

Can I download danmaku comments?

No. Danmaku is a live comment layer rather than part of the video file, and this tool does not export it.

Does it work without logging in?

Yes, for anything Bilibili shows to signed-out visitors. Content behind a paywall or a membership tier needs your own session in the desktop app.

Is the video watermarked?

No. The file is the stream Bilibili serves, and nothing is added on our side.

Why did my link fail?

Open it in a private window. If Bilibili asks you to sign in, shows a purchase page or says the video is unavailable in your region, there is nothing public to read.
